Basketball play horns + drag transition
STEP 1

Set-up on the court.
  1. Player #2 occupies the weak-side corner.
  2. Player #3 is positioned at 45º on the weak side.
  3. Player #5 occupies the inside elbow on the strong side.
  4. Players #1 (ball handler) and #4 trail the play in transition. #1 runs along the sideline and #4 trails through the middle lane.

STEP 2

Player #1 moves to the 45º position while #4 occupies the opposite elbow.

STEP 3

Player #1 passes the ball to #4, who then passes to #5 after #5 moves up to the mid-post. #1 goes to screen for #3, who starts moving to the opposite side and receives an off-ball screen from #4.

STEP 4

Point guard performs a tactical screen causing mismatches in the opponent’s defense. 5 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency. 1 adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. 3 adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. Small forward adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. 4 establishes a screen to create advantage and confuse the defense.

STEP 5

Finish.
