What is a LOOP?
STEP 1

Initial positions are set so the team can move in a coordinated way and create space.

STEP 2

4 blocks the defender, opening space for cuts, drives, or shots. 5 sets a strong screen to free a teammate and create close-range scoring opportunities. Small forward sets a precise screen helping a teammate penetrate towards the basket. Shooting guard changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities.

STEP 3

STEP 4

Players adopt their starting formation, prepared for coordinated movements and penetration options.
