STEP 1
4 establishes a screen to create advantage and confuse the defense. 3 alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options.
STEP 2
Point guard changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities.
STEP 3
Each player is located strategically to maximize effectiveness in the first phase of the attack.
STEP 4
4 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow.
Play
Play 1 (PG)
Start at base formation.
1. #1 calls for a pick from #4
2. #3 goes out to 3 pt line while #4 is moving to give a screen to #1
2. #1 use the screen of #4 and tries to get an open perimeter shot
3. #1 choose to take :
a. 3 pt shot
b. closer mid range shot
c. straight to the basket lay up
d. kick out to #3 for open 3 pt shot
e. bounce pass to rolling #4
