Low Post Transition
STEP 1
Players are positioned at key points on the court, seeking offensive and defensive balance.
STEP 2
- 1 passes to 5 and cuts to the corner.
- 5 passes to 3 who takes 1’s spot at 45°.
- At the same time, 4 and 5 switch positions.
- 5 passes to 3 who takes 1’s spot at 45°.
- At the same time, 4 and 5 switch positions.
STEP 3
- 5 passes to 3.
- 3 and 2 play a hand off.
- 3 and 2 play a hand off.
STEP 4
- 5 sets a direct screen for 2.
- 2 finishes (shot or drive)
Variations:
- If 2 does not finish, play pick and roll with 5.
- Repick between 5 and 2.
