STEP 2

This is a variation of play 11. When player 4 receives the ball, they can pass it to player 2, who can either shoot or pass to player 5. Alternatively, player 4 can pass directly to player 5. After passing, player 1 continues into a pick-and-roll action.

Player 4 moves up to the high post and player 5 plays in the low post. Player 1 passes the ball to 4, and 4 attacks the basket. A variation of this play is for 4 to set a screen on player 1's defender, either to the right or left, allowing player 1 to attack the basket.
