STEP 1

1. Player 4 (elbow)
2. Player 1 ball handler (Top)
3. Players 2 and 3 open on the perimeter
4. Player 5 low post

1. Player 4 sets an indirect screen for player 5 and then occupies 5’s position.
2. Player 5 moves to the top and sets a direct screen for the ball handler, who drives with a dribble.

STEP 2

1. Player 1 finishes near the basket with a layup or floater
2. If the defender of 4 helps on the penetration, pass to player 4 to finish
3. Player 5 runs a PnR and receives a pass from player 1 to finish
4. Player 5 runs a PnP and receives a pass from player 1 to finish

STEP 3 The initial setup is organized to create synergy between movements, screens, and passes for the opening play.
