- Player positioning to start the play:

STEP 1
- Player positioning to start the play:
- Players 4 and 5 at the top, slightly inside the perimeter.
- Player 3 in the paint, low post.
- Player 2 (three-point shooter) in the corner on the inbound side.
- Player 1 inbounding.
Positions are not rigid and can be adjusted depending on the players and their characteristics.
- Player 2 starts the movement by running toward the player in the paint, but before reaching them turns toward the free-throw line to pass between players 4 and 5. At the same time, player 3 takes player 2's previous position.
- Players 4 and 5 move to perform the elevator screen (decoy) but allow the defender to pass behind player 2.
- Once the defender has passed, player 4 turns and curls around player 5, who sets a screen (or vice versa if starting positions are switched), allowing them to go to the basket.
- After the screen, player 1 passes to player 4 to finish the play.
