Initial Setup:
Point guard at top, wings in corners, two interior players near free-throw line ready for screens.
Steps:
1. Wheel motion: point guard passes to wing and cuts to opposite corner.
2. Cross screens: interior players screen for opposite wing to cut to top.
3. Shot option: wing shoots if open, otherwise pass quickly.
4. Continuous motion: players keep cutting and screening to create shots or drives.

#Half-court basketball plays

STEP 1
Initial Setup:

  • Point guard (1) at the top of the key.
  • Two wings (2 and 3) positioned in the corners.
  • Two interior players (4 and 5) near the free-throw line, ready to set screens.
Steps:

  1. Wheel Motion: The point guard (1) passes to a wing (2 or 3) and cuts to the opposite corner.
  2. Cross Screens: The interior players (4 and 5) set screens for the opposite wing to cut toward the top of the key and receive a pass.
  3. Shot Option: If the wing has an open shot, they take it. If not, they quickly pass the ball.
  4. Continuous Motion: Players keep cutting and screening in a circular motion, forcing the defense to move and creating open shots or driving lanes.
STEP 2 1 adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense.
