This is an example of a basic high post-low post action that also includes a backdoor cut, handoff, and screens for different scoring options.

#Other

STEP 1 Initial positions are set so the team can move in a coordinated way and create space.
STEP 2
To start, 1 dribbles to the right wing, signaling 4 to cut backdoor toward the basket.

At that moment, 4 could receive the ball from 1 and score near the basket if it’s open. If not open, then 4 could retreat to the right high post area and receive the ball from 1.
STEP 3
Next, 2 could cut to the basket, receive the pass from 4, and score at the hoop. If 4 cannot make the pass, then 5 could enter the lane via the cross screen set by 2.

After that, 5 could receive the high and low pass from 4 and score near the basket with a low post move.

Additionally, if 5 cannot receive the ball, then 2 could continue to the left wing through the screen action set by 3. From there, 2 could receive the ball from 4 and take an open three-point jump shot if available.
