Baseline shooter 1
STEP 1

Baseline play for two shooting options: first for the wing in lateral position, second for the interior in a front-facing shot.

STEP 2

Shooter screen on 4 to provoke indirect defense.

STEP 3

Screen by our 5 for the shooter. It's important that the interior reads how the indirect screen is defended and looks for the defender who will exit

STEP 4

We look for a pass to the shooter after the screen and may have a pass to the roll

STEP 5

Player movement to create a central shot opportunity on arrival for our 4

STEP 6

Shot or 1-on-1 by our interior player on arrival; otherwise we play a reversal on pass or one-on-one

STEP 7

Reversal on pass or one-on-one, and we continue with free play rules

STEP 8

Shooting guard moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. Power forward changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. Center places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 9

Play

Baseline shooter 1

Baseline play with two shooting options off the pass. First for an outside player, second at the top for the 4.
