TRANSITION 5 first opposite side
STEP 1

Transition arrival: our 5 has run and arrives first. We start with our rule that the first thing we try is to attack the basket, and if we can't, look for a backdoor pass.

STEP 2

The player at the top will look to receive or make a backdoor cut; if not possible, they can exchange positions with the 45 player.

STEP 3

With the ball at the top, we look for a pin-down screen for the big player’s curl, and the player who set the screen will be the one to go receive at 45.

STEP 4

Power forward changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. 5 executes an effective screen maintaining the team’s offensive flow. 5 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency.
