Center moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. Shooting guard adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. Power forward adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense.

STEP 3

1 changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. Power forward shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency. Shooting guard moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow.

STEP 4

5 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. Shooting guard moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. 4 changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. 3 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. 1 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency.

STEP 5

We define the starting positions of the players, placing each strategically to optimize passes and attacking options.

Play

4-1 Formation

Shift to the side opposite the 5 to start.
5 moves to the elbow; (If not received, 1 plays one-on-one with the corner or 5 opens to invert).
If a pass goes to the corner, (NEVER BEFORE AN INVERT) pass to 5 and opposite wing cut. 
If pass to high post, wings swap positions vertically.
