Counterattack + Trans + One-on-One
STEP 1

Point guard alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options. Shooting guard adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. 3 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 2

Pass from 1 to 2 so that 2 and 3 go to the basket and 1 goes to the 3-point line where 2 can see him. 4 goes through the trailer and 5 heads to the top.

STEP 3

2 and 3 could not finish the fast break, 2 goes out with the ball to the 3-point line and 4 drops to the low post. 5 goes to the top. 1 stays at 45.

STEP 4

Since there is no pass to the low post, we look for a reversal between 2 and 5. Pass from 2 to 5 so that 1 can go for the one-on-one.

STEP 5

1 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 6

When the ball is played between the point guard and the pivot and 1 attacks on the side of 3, 4 can occupy the corner or play the circle to 1.

STEP 7

Play

Counterattack + Trans + One-on-One

Attack the wing on the counter. If 2 or 3 cannot finish, 1 is already on the 3-point line. 4 drops as trailer, 5 goes to the top. 2 passes to 5, 1 goes one-on-one with 5. Then follow ball movement rules.
