STEP 1
Players adopt their starting formation, prepared for coordinated movements and penetration options.
STEP 3
Center sets a precise screen helping a teammate penetrate towards the basket. 3 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency. Small forward changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities.
STEP 4
Next, 4 cuts to the basket via the flare screen set by 5 and could receive the ball from 2 if open near the basket.
STEP 5
If 4 did not receive the ball from 2, the chin series flows into the continuity pattern executed on the opposite side of the floor.
To start the continuity, 4 cuts out to the right corner and then towards the right wing. At the same time, 1 cuts up to the right slot while 2 dribbles to the left slot.
Also, 5 cuts across to the left high post area while 3 lifts up from the left corner to the left wing.
STEP 6
Next, 1 receives the ball from 2 and then 4 receives the ball from 1. Afterwards, 2 cuts to the basket via the back screen set by 5 and could receive the ball from 4. If 2 does not receive the ball, then 2 cuts out to the right side corner.
STEP 7
Next, 1 cuts to the basket via the flare screen set by 5 and could receive the ball from 4 if open.
STEP 8
If 1 is not open, the continuity is initiated again. 4 begins to dribble to the right slot while 2 fills the right wing and 5 cuts to the right high post.
At the same time, 3 fills the left slot while 1 cuts to the left corner and then to the left wing.
