Small forward alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options.

Box (baseline or sideline inbound)

Two players are positioned in the low post and two in the high post. On the inbounder’s signal, the high posts set screens for the low-post players (near the baseline) so they can come out to take a shot or attack the basket.
