Barça LOB Play Pesic
STEP 1
2 goes out to receive a pass from 1 after a BI on the weak side
On the strong side, 5 dives and 3 starts a baseline cut for a subsequent BI
On the strong side, 5 dives and 3 starts a baseline cut for a subsequent BI
STEP 2
Once 2 receives the ball, they play a Handoff with the passer. Meanwhile, 4 sets a BI on 3
STEP 3
When playing a Handoff, 5 comes up to set a BackScreen for 2 so they can receive near the basket. (Alley-Hoop, direct bounce pass, etc.)
STEP 4
There are several variations:
- Pass to 2 after BackScreen
- Pass to 5 who frees up for mid-range or front three-point shot
- Pass to interior who has screened 3 (posts up)
- 3 moves out for a mid-range or corner three-point shot
