Small forward places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. Point guard changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities.

Close Out Drill from Extra Pass

1v1 drill from #ExtraPass.
Player 1 passes to 2, who penetrates and looks to pass to 3 (who has occupied the corner). Player 1 receives the extra pass and attacks the close out of player 2 (who, after passing to the corner, is the defender).

OBJECTIVE:
- Close the middle
- Short passes
- Defend the first dribble
- Show hands when attacker contacts
- Contest shot + make back pass (don’t get beaten on first dribble)
