Drill

The 3 circles

We put 3 players to defend each one in one of the circles of the field: the two zones and the central circle. These players cannot leave there.

Two players start from the baseline and must reach the basket by passing from one basket to the other, avoiding both losing the ball due to a bad pass or a bad reception and one of the players in one circle touching it. If this happens, the player who lost the ball replaces the player in the circle.

The objective is to improve the pass and the use of space to do so.

We can introduce variants, such as avoiding lobbed passes, limiting the number of passes or the type of pass (such as only a bounce pass).
