One of the sideline plays we will run during the season. It is called Sideline 5 because the main option is for the 5. It is also called Short because the passes are short.

STEP 1 Power forward sets a precise screen helping a teammate penetrate towards the basket.

STEP 2 Center places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 3 Power forward performs a tactical screen causing mismatches in the opponent’s defense. Point guard places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 4 Small forward adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. 3 alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options.
