Equipment
• Two players, a ball and five cones.
• Player 1 acts in attack and player 2, in defense. Player 1 starts on the baseline with Player 2 marking him closely.
Development
1. Player 1 must stay inside the court and not cross the midline of the court (the imaginary line that would go from the rim of one basket to the other).
2. Player 1 advances with the ball to the cone located on the wing on the same side but on the other basket.
3. Once player 1 reaches the cone, he must take two back bounces
4. Now, player 1 and player 2 play one on one. If player 1 scores a basket, then he retains possession of the ball
5. If player 1 does not make a basket, then player 2 catches the ball and they change sides of the court.
6. Players receive a point every time they score a basket.
7. The exercise ends when one of the players reaches 7 points.
Keys to training
Players must apply separation and positioning techniques to maintain the inside position .
