Weak-Side Post + Shooting Exit

STEP 1

If the perimeter player drives through the middle, the post player cuts along the baseline.
If the perimeter player drives outside, the post player occupies the middle of the paint.

Point guard moves strategically to provide new passing lanes and open space.

Drill

Weak-Side Post + Shooting Exit

Post player on the weak side.
The perimeter player replaces and plays 1-on-1 using two strong dribbles.
The final pass is never a chest pass:
- Bounce pass
- Lob pass
- Or a short pass that allows for a quick finish.
After driving: pass, fill the corner and keep playing.
The post player circles with the perimeter player's drive and finishes quickly.
