Hand-off system - Back pick option

STEP 1

1 dribbles to 4 who cuts and comes out the same side baseline
2 sprints to 1 and fakes a maximum hand-off at the level of the paint shoulder
In the end 2 and 4 simply cross (note that 1, if smart, can get an easy basket attacking the hoop after the fake)
3 moves down to the corner
5 sprints to set a back pick for 2

STEP 2

2 continues their sprint and dives behind 5's back pick and may receive from 1 for an easy basket
5 after the back pick moves out

STEP 3

1 passes to 5 who passes to 3 who sprints up the wing
5 after passing to 3 sets a ball screen for him (if defense prevents the 5-to-3 pass, 5 dribbles for a hand-off with 3)
2 moves out to the corner

STEP 4

3 takes advantage of 5's screen to attack the basket
5 dives after his screen
Important: 2 moves behind the screen because if X2 helps on the screen, he will be alone.

Then it's game reading to exploit the advantage from the screen with passing possibilities from 3 to 5, 3 to 4 + extra pass to 1, 3 to 1 + extra pass to 2, 3 passes to 2.
