Point guard places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. 2 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. 1 moves strategically to provide new passing lanes and open space. 1 adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense.

Drill

The hunting game

All players are placed on the baseline, except two defenders between the benches. The goal is to steal a ball without being caught and take it to their side dribbling, placing it behind the baseline. If the thief is caught with a ball, she must return it; if she doesn’t have a ball, she must return one previously taken; if she has none, she gets a negative point. The winner is the one with the most balls at the end.
