STEP 1

Continuous 3c2+1. Three attackers vs two defenders, with a third defender joining as soon as the ball crosses into the offensive half.
The third defender must go around the cone before joining the defense.

STEP 2

Offense objective: Attack or score before the defensive help arrives. We are in superiority.
Set offensive rules (spacing, limited number of passes, cut after passing, occupy spaces, etc.).
Defense: TANDEM positioning (big in front, small behind).
Defense objective: Stop the ball and delay the offense until the defense arrives.
Defender X1 will stop the ball as far from the basket as possible, forcing a pass instead of penetration.
The back defender will provide help and jump to the side of the receiving player.

STEP 3

Defender X1 will drop back and provide help defense until X3 arrives. They must prevent a possible skip pass (3).

STEP 4

As soon as X3 arrives to defend, they will guard the player who is not closely defended.
It is important to talk on defense to make adjustments.

STEP 5

It is important that the defense communicates at all times.
Each team sets their communication rules: I’m going, help, I’m there, mine... etc.

Drill

3vs2 +1

Drill that helps us work on both superiorities and defensive recovery. In which the attack must finish the transition before the defense regains equality.
