Initial Setup:
- A point guard (1) at the top of the key.
- Two wings (2 and 3) spread out in the corners.
- A center (5) and a power forward (4) positioned near the perimeter, ready to set screens.
Steps:
- Pass and Cut: The point guard (1) passes the ball to a wing (2 or 3) and immediately cuts to the basket.
- Quick Pass Option: If the cut is effective, the wing returns the pass for an easy layup.
- Screen and Spacing: If the pass to the cutter isn’t available, the center (5) sets a screen to free up the point guard on the perimeter.
- Shot or Drive: The point guard can receive the ball for an open shot or drive and kick to an open teammate.
- Rotation and Repeat: If no shot is available, move the ball quickly to the other side and repeat the action.
