PASSO 1
1 (point guard) positions himself about 6 steps away from the three-point line, and the other players line up parallel to the free-throw line respecting their positions.
The drill starts with the ball being handed to 3 (small forward).
PASSO 2
Once 3 has the ball, 5 comes up to set a flat off-ball screen for 1 to generate the cut without the ball.
This creates the first attacking situation: triple threat for 3.
PASSO 3
If there is no pass to 1’s cut, 3 passes the ball to 5 and 4 (power forward) opens beyond the three-point line to later receive from 5.
PASSO 4
When 4 receives, he faces left where 2 (shooting guard) will make an off-ball cut to create the second game option, and after that 1 replaces 2’s spot to later receive from 4.
PASSO 5
When 1 receives from 4 at the 45-degree spot, 4 will play the first direct screen to generate the third scoring opportunity.
PASSO 6
Once he receives, he plays the first direct screen with 4 (pick and roll) to create the third scoring opportunity.
PASSO 7
If no advantage is created in the pick and roll, 1 swings the ball to 5 and moves out to the 45-degree spot. 4, who rolled to create a 2-on-1, stays at the elbow of the free-throw line. 3 makes the same backdoor cut as 2 did in the previous sequence, then that same player comes up to replace 3 and later plays another pick and roll with 5.
PASSO 8
5 plays a direct screen with 2 and then continues with the same situations: 4 receives, 1 cuts, 3 replaces, and they play a pick and roll with 4.
PASSO 9
Center alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options.
PASSO 10
2 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. Center changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. 1 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency. Small forward adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense.
PASSO 11
4 sets a precise screen helping a teammate penetrate towards the basket.
