STEP 1
We start the play with 5 open, when the point guard loads to one side we form an offensive triangle
STEP 2 4 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow. Shooting guard places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.
STEP 3
Once the offensive triangle is formed between 1, 2, and 4, a vertical screen is set for 5 on the opposite side
STEP 4
1 waits for 5 to replace 3 to deliver a one-hand, half-hand, or whichever pass is most comfortable for the player
STEP 5
once 1 passes to 5, 4 sets a corner screen for 2, so 2 can cut asking for the ball and finish with a layup. If not, 1 goes to set a corner screen for 4 so that 4 moves up to the 45° spot to receive the pass from 5
STEP 6
1 sets a screen for 4 to receive the ball from 5
STEP 7
5 passes the ball to 4 to set up screens in the opposite corner
STEP 8
then 2 goes to the corner and sets an off-ball screen for 3 to cut and receive the pass from 4 to finish with a shot
STEP 9
if 4 does not pass to 3, 5 goes and sets a screen for 2 to cover the 45° spot left by 5
STEP 10
4 passes to 2, 2 waits for the screens in the corner to deliver a pass from the corner to the top of the key.
STEP 11
2 passes to 1 to finish with a drive to the basket. If 1 does not shoot, an alternative is to pass to the corner on the ball side, allowing that player to finish with a three-point shot or a baseline drive ending with a floater.
