SLOB for fast 3-pointer

PASSO 1

Player 3 will be the inbounder.

Player 1 will try to position between the three-point line and the midcourt line (ideal spot to receive). If not, they can move back to the defensive area to relieve pressure.

Player 2 will position to the left of the free-throw line.

Player 4 will position to the right of the free-throw line.

Player 5 positions near the baseline on the left side.

PASSO 2

Player 3 passes the ball to 1.

When 3 passes to 1, player 4 takes a few steps toward 3 and then toward the baseline to be in position to set a screen for 3.

Player 5 also steps to the right (should be near the basket line) and a couple of steps forward (off the baseline).

PASSO 3

After 3 enters the court, he will cross the floor using the screens set by 4 and 5.

Player 1 will dribble to the left side to get an angle to pass the ball to 3 in the corner for a shooting option.

PASSO 4

If 3 is not open in the corner, 1 will change direction. As soon as this happens, player 2 will sprint using a double screen set by 4 and 5.

Then 1 will dribble to the right and look for 2, either in the corner or the wing.

PASSO 5

If 2 is not in a good position, 1 dribbles toward the initial spot.

While 1 does this, 5 moves to the wing.

Player 4 comes to set a screen with the ball for 1.

PASSO 6

After setting the screen, player 4 moves toward the basket.

Player 1, coming off the screen with force, has four options: layup, short jump shot, pass to 4, or to 2 in the corner for an open shot if the defender helps.

Player 5 moves up to provide 1 an alternative if the other four options are unavailable.
