Chase exercise, the goal is to get the opponent's tail. 

Example of distractor progressions:

  1. The player can only take the tail from their partner. 
  2. There are no pairs. Chasers can steal a tail from anyone. 
  3. The player can only steal the tail from their partner, but the one being chased has the ball. If the chaser touches the ball, the chased player cannot move. 
  4. No pairs, the chased has the ball and chasers can take the tail from anyone. 
  5. Everyone with a ball. 


STEP 1 Players adopt their starting formation, prepared for coordinated movements and penetration options.
STEP 2 Small forward adjusts position to facilitate ball movement and anticipate the defense. Shooting guard changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. 1 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow.
