CLOSE OUT EXERCISES - EXERCISE 6

Drill
1297 views ·
DEVELOPMENT:

As seen in the first graphic, the ball starts with defender 1 and ends with attacker 2 through a series of passes. In this way, defender 1 must get to the close out of attacker 1, knowing what is going to happen, and defender 2 must get to the close out of attacker 2, knowing they can shoot or attack with a dribble. From there, a 2x2 is played.

VARIANTS:

- As shown in the second graphic, the positions in the exercise can be varied so that the close outs are done in different spaces.
