STEP 1

The drill starts with 6 players, 2 coaches, and 3 balls. 3 in each court plus 1 coach as described in the diagram.
  1. Player 1 sprints to the free-throw line extension and receives the pass from coach C1. Then he dribbles to the opposite court and upon reaching 45º, passes to coach C2 and continues toward the basket where he receives a pass from player 2 to finish with a layup.

STEP 2

2. This time, the same sequence occurs but towards the opposite basket.

STEP 4

Power forward alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options. 5 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves.

STEP 5

The initial setup is organized to create synergy between movements, screens, and passes for the opening play.
