Finishing Near the Paint

Drill
Finishing Near the Paint - STEP 1: <div>Two lines in front of the cones: everyone has a ball except the first player in one of the lines
Two lines in front of the cones: everyone has a ball except the first player in one of the lines.
JCB5 must pass to the JSB in the opposite line.
We can add passing rules: pass after dribble, or any focus we want to work on.
The same applies to the receiver, who must receive on the move. We can set rules for receiving and using fakes before driving to the basket.
Finishing:
We work on the type and style of finishes we want:
  • Reverse layup, ProHop, step-through, etc.
  • We can also require a fake downward and work on attacking over the top of the cone.
