STEP 1

STEP 1
Player 1 is in the right-side line with the ball.
Player 2 is in the left-side line with the cone as the imaginary defender.

STEP 2

STEP 2
Player 2 starts by moving toward the cone representing the imaginary defender, simulating the screen.
Player 2 then breaks away in the opposite direction toward the free-throw line.

STEP 3

STEP 3
Player 2 calls for the ball at the free-throw line.
Player 1 passes the ball to player 2.

STEP 4

STEP 4
Player 2 receives the ball and shoots a jump shot from the free-throw line.
Player 2 gets her own rebound and lines up with the ball in player 1's column, while player 1 moves to player 2's column.

Drill

U13 Girls Getting Open / Mid-Range Shot

Practice without real defense where the player simulates a screen, gets open in the direction of play, and receives the ball for a mid-range shot. Objective: synchronize pass, movement, and shot.
