Two lines of players and the coach at midcourt. The coach tosses the ball and the first player from each line competes for possession. The player who gains possession must dribble to the low post and, once there, maintain possession using a protective dribble while the defender tries to steal the ball. During the contest, the coach raises fingers and the attacker must call out the numbers to keep their eyes off the ball. When the coach closes their fist, the attacker attempts to finish with a shot.
If the defender steals the ball at any moment, the roles are reversed.
