Basketball drill concepts vs zone iii, step 2:
concepts against zone iii
we work with the possibility of having 2 inside players
Concepts against zone III
We work with the possibility of having 2 inside players.
We use the basic high post and low post.
The high post will always be the inside player furthest from the ball (weak side)
We work on the possibility of doing a BD with him and see its continuation or the spacing work of the other inside player.
In diagram 5 it will be the continuation and 4 will gain the defender's back freeing space for continuation of the screen.
EX: Once the BD is done there are several options
JCB, as before, can shoot or penetrate.
Now with the 2 inside players he has:
Pass to the PNR continuation
Pass to another inside player who moves to the opposite space of the continuation. (Previous exercise situation)
