Fakes, passes and drives
Basketball drill fakes, passes and drives
STEP 1

Start of the drill:
  1. Initial setup of players, cones and balls.

STEP 2

Start of the drill:
  1. Player 3 moves out to the 45° position to receive the pass from player 1. Once he receives the ball, he starts a drive towards the basket, stopping with a fake before stepping back and going around the cone to attack the basket. Once player 1 makes the pass, he immediately runs to join the top-of-the-key line on the same side.
  2. At the same time, the same movement begins on the opposite side.

STEP 3

  1. Players who drive towards the basket pass the ball out to the corners and then move to the position behind the player who receives their pass.
  2. From here, the drill is continuous, repeating the same sequence.

Fakes, passes and drives

In this drill, we will divide the players into 2 groups and split the court into right and left sides. Each group will start on one side, and when the coach says so or the set time passes, they will switch sides. Players with the ball are placed in the corners and another without the ball at 45º on the perimeter. A cone on each side at 45º and slightly inside the perimeter.
