PASSO 1
Continuous 2-on-1 drill:

We divide the court into 2 halves lengthwise (see diagram).
The drill works both offensive superiority and defense.
Offense:
  • Players must run through the outside and central lanes. Depends on how many lanes each coach sets (4 or 5).
  • Ball circulation can follow our team rules, central or wing lane.
  • Limit dribbling and always be aggressive to the basket.
  • Limit passes after the three-point line (1 or none)
  • Use passing fakes
  • Players without the ball always run ahead of the JCB. If continuous step.
Defense:
  • Use defensive fakes
  • Stop the ball as far from the basket as possible.
  • Use arms, make yourself big to occupy space.
Drill rules:
Offense:
  • Start from baseline, pass to outside player who advances ball along the lane we set (I use both situations)
  • Inbound passer must run along the lane opposite JCB (If JCB wins center, JSB goes along wing, outer lane)
  • Attack fast using the above rules.
Defense:
  • On baseline inbound, defender must go around/touch the cone placed at midcourt (can be closer to basket depending on player ages)
  • Stop the ball as far as possible using defensive fakes
  • If beaten or passed, recover quickly to at least contest or force errors by closing/contesting shots.
Continuation:
To make it continuous, the defender becomes attacker, rebounds or inbounds if basket is made to play on the other court with another teammate.
PASSO 2
We can work according to the diagram:
  1. One half, advance the ball along the wing
  2. Other half, advance the ball through the center
PASSO 3
Offensive players must run through their lanes (wing or center)
Defensive player may be asked to touch or go around the cone before defending. Must start from baseline.
Defense should use defensive fakes
PASSO 4 Shooting guard places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. Shooting guard changes location seeking advantage over the defender and scoring opportunities. 1 shifts to an optimal spot on the court to maximize offensive efficiency. 3 moves to support teammates and maintain constant game flow.
PASSO 5
We can finish with a shot or a penetration.
Use our spacing rules
Use passing fakes in the offense.
Limit the attackers' passes and dribbles (I even sometimes ask them not to dribble in the offensive half)
PASSO 6
Finish inside the paint or outside
If finishing outside, defense is required to contest the shots
PASSO 7
PASSO 8 2 places themselves strategically to generate passing angles and anticipate defensive moves. Point guard alters position to create defensive mismatches and penetration options.
PASSO 9
Attacker who shoots at the basket: if he scores, he remains attacker and defends the passer.
The one who has to defend must touch the baseline and go around the cone to start the exercise.
Defender of the drill rebounds:
If scored on, inbound from baseline
If gets rebound, pivot for outside pass to the attacking teammate.
  • If scores, inbound from baseline
  • If grabs rebound, goes directly with outside teammate  (e.g., 5)
