High-Pace Finishing Warm-Up
PASSO 1

The initial setup of this basketball drill (described for a large group using both halves of the court) consists of 4 cones at the free throw elbows. At each cone, there will be a player without the ball. The rest of the players will be positioned at court corners with the ball.

PASSO 2

Players at a corner will exit and after 1 dribble pass the ball to the player at the cone on the opposite court. Limiting dribbles accelerates pace and develops foot-hand coordination. After passing, they continue cutting toward the opposite basket.

PASSO 3

When finishing the cut, they will receive a pass from the players at the corner to finish. The players who provided the assist will run to the other side and receive a pass from the cone players. Once they have the ball, they repeat the drill on the opposite court.

The rotation is: The player at the cone moves to the corner. The player at the corner makes the cut and then goes to the cone (collecting their rebound and passing it to the corner). You can also adjust the number of players per group to increase pace.

High-Pace Finishing Warm-Up

This is a very versatile drill in terms of the number of players, as it can be used from 5 people to more than 12. In addition, the intensity of the exercise is independent of the number of players performing it. This is because the exercise only uses half a court, so if we have a large group we can divide them into two teams. It is a basketball drill that allows us to work on physical fitness due to its high pace as well as finishing.
